Today is the first official day of spring! That means allergies, flowers, the heat coming back, and allergies. Yes, I said allergies twice. I’m allergic to a lot of flowers and other plants so that’s fun. Anyway, here’s the tag.
Favorite spring nail polish? I love pastel nails during the spring. However, I usually go with metallic or minty blues. I do not like pink unless I’m in a really girly mood. My favorite nail polish right now is the Essie brand salt water happy color.
What is your must-have lip color this spring? I love nudes. My favorite nude lipstick is Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick in the shade 700.
Show us your favorite spring dress! I’m not a big dress wearer, or skirts for that matter. But my favorite shorts are my high-waisted jean shorts with flowers printed on them.
What’s your favorite flower? This is gonna sound strange to some people but I like blue roses. But since those aren’t very common, I also love carnations, as long as they’re not yellow.
Favorite spring scarf/accessory? My favorite accessory for the spring is ear cuffs. When I think of ear cuffs, I usually think of the flowery-filigree ones or the ones that are perfect for summer. I wish I had some.
What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both!) I like the pastels trend, even if I’m usually wearing dark colors; it’s just a way to bring a little color into my wardrobe. I also like the sparkle trend because I’m just a big fan of glitter and sequins.
Favorite spring candle? I love this candle I got recently from … . It smells so good and just how I’d imagine an enchanted rose.
Favorite body spray/perfume for spring? I love fruity smells, and I just got a peachy lotion. I also have an apricot body spray that I also love.
What is spring like where you live? In Texas, the weather is always all over the place. It could be cold one second, raining the next, and then sunny and hot and humid the next.
What’s your favorite thing about spring? I love that once spring hits, the warmth soon follows. And then, I can walk around in shorts and nobody thinks it’s a little strange. (I walk in shorts in the winter’s frigid air all the time.)
Are you a spring cleaner? Yes, in a way. But I go on cleaning binges randomly throughout the entire year.
Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation? I didn’t really have any plans this spring break, but I did get my hair dyed back to my natural hair color. I am. however, going on a cruise with my family sometime this summer.
