I’ve been browsing Pinterest a lot more lately, and I’ve come across a ton of quotes and text posts about brown eyes. This got me thinking about how beautiful all eye colors are.
Brown Eyes
Brown eyes are normally seen as boring and basic, but do people not see them in the sun? They turn shades of gold and amber and russet. They shine with the light of a thousand suns. Brown eyes have flecks of gold, copper, and even black in them. They are their own landscapes.
No two brown eyes are the same. Some are melted chocolate, some are solid gold, some are those two mixed together. So, next time you look in someone’s brown eyes, see what you could describe the color as. Watch the way they change in the light.
And here’s some songs for those who don’t hear many song about brown eyes:
- Crazy Beautiful by Andy Grammer
- Pretty Brown Eyes by Cody Simpson
- Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrisson
- Brown Eyes by Destiny’s Child
Blue Eyes
Here’s to the eye color that gets all the fame, and for good reason. Blue eyes are so beautiful. They are lakes, oceans, even puddles. They’re the color of the sky when it rains, when it shines, when there’s a hurricane. Blue eyes are the ones that everyone gets lost in. It’s a cliché, but it’s earned by their beautiful hues.
And here are some of my favorite songs about blue eyes:
- I Never Told You by Colbie Caillat
- Rhythm of Love by Plain White T’s
- Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift
Green Eyes
Green eyes… so hauntingly beautiful. They seem to glow with how green they are. Some are forests, some are moss, and some are the color you see when you roll down a grassy hill when you’re a child. Cat-like and feline are the words that always pop to mind when I see green eyes, along with danger. But it’s the beautiful kind of danger, the kind that makes your adrenaline race. It’s the color that pops to mind when you think about cliff-diving or sky-diving.
Here are some songs about green eyes that I like:
- Sparks Fly by Taylor Swift
- Green Eyes by Coldplay
- I’ll Go On Loving You by Alan Jackson
And now, I’m going to give you some advice from Ed Sheeran’s grandmother:
